Seblak is a typical meal from Bandung that is made of crackers which are cooked until the texture becomes limp then varied with some topings, such as eggs, sausage, meatballs, chicken claw, etc. Nowadays, seblak become very popular even the popularity until the outside of Bandung, Jogja for instance. In Jogja, it is very easy to find seblak sellers, most of them are from Bandung. Well, in this article I would like to share an information about one of the seblak stalls in Yogyakarta, precisely in the area of Yogyakarta State University campus or UNY, the name is Seblak Bloom. Actually seblak Bloom has several branches, but I only want to discuss the UNY branch, it is located at Block A, Karangmalang Street number 4, Caturtunggal, Yogyakarta, in the area of UNY. This stall can accommodate up to a dozen visitors and the range of price is relatively cheap at between 7-12k. Seblak were sold here is not dry, but there is little broth on it. The variation of seblak here is quite diverse, I believe there are about 15 variants seblak with various stuffing and toping. Seblak Bloom offers 4 levels of spiciness. Level 1 is not spicy, level 2 is quite spicy, level 3 is spicy, and level 4 is very spicy. By the time I stopped to Seblak Bloom I ordered one Seblak Ceker which the contents are chicken claw, eggs, and round crackers and one Seblak Ngojay which the contents are mushrooms, eggs, and round crackers. One portion of Seblak Ceker costs Rp12,000 and one portion of Seblak Ngojay costs Rp8,000 and I think the taste is good. Seblak Bloom UNY open at 9 am until 10 pm. For those of you who are curious about the taste please come here. Please visit
